According to a recent interview Joanne K Rowling always imagined Albus Dumbledore as a homosexual.
Answering a question posed to her at tonight's book reading at Carnegie Hall in New York J.K. Rowling got confronted with the question whether Albus Dumbledore ever loved someone.
Her respons was that she always imagined Dumbledore as gay.
She further told that she even had to cross out a line in the script of the sixth Harry Potter Movie where Dumbledore talked about a past female love and she scrawled "Dumbledore is gay" over the text.
Dumbledore once fell in love with his talented young collegue Gellert Grindelwald, but later found out that he used his skills for dark practics.
The audience was shocked first but then seemed to love the idea of a gay Albus Dumbledore.
