Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson was born on April 15th, 1990. The first five years of her life she lived in France. After her parents Mr. Chris Watson and Mrs. Jaqueline Watson had their divorce Emma lives, together with her mother and her three years younger brother Alex in Oxford.
She had her debut in the world of professional acting in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, after she successfully auditioned for the role of Hermione Granger.
In 2006 she turned out not just to be a brilliant actress, but to be a very smart girl as well, by recieving eight A and two A+ on her GCSE's.
In the beginning of 2007, after having portrayed Hermione Granger five times already she signed the contract for the last two Harry Potter Movies.
